Wedding days are all precious but Nadine and Darren’s day of union was something to behold.

I am truly grateful to have had the privilege of photographing the union of this two beautifully kind and blessedly carefree souls.

A full day of wedding traditions brought us across Singapore, from the iconic Raffles Hotel to a beautiful solemnisation ceremony held at their home church. Their celebration of love rounded off with an amazing intimate dinner celebration with close friends and family at oriental-design Asian restaurant Min Jiang atop the iconic Dempsey Hill.

First look and portrait session.

Welcome to our wedding day.

Dinner at Min Jiang

The evening saw the couple partaking in the traditional Asian tea ceremony. The tea ceremony is deeply rooted as a cultural practice in Singaporean Chinese weddings.

Beyond just a giving of tea in small intricate cups, it signifies a coming of age as familial relatives share words of blessings and advice to the newly wedded couple on their journey forward, through marriage and life.

And the night begins.

A yumseng that was simply magical.

With the dinner concluded, the couple transited to party mode with energy that matched the night.

It was simply about enjoying themselves. A beautiful way to end the night having fun with everyone present.

For those, who are unafraid to love.

I believe weddings are the most joyous day of your life and I photograph it as such. I am drawn towards laughter and all things playful, colours and human characters. The best wedding days flow through us like a blur, and photography allows us to relive those short moments again.
